In the name of God Amen I Francis Ayhurst in the County of Sussex miller being sick of body but of sound and pfect mind and memory thanks be given to Almighty God for the same doe make and ordaine my last Will and Testamt in manner and forme following Frist [sic] and principlely I come[nd] my soul into the hands of Almighty God hopeing that through the merits of Jesus Christ I s[ha]ll receive full and free pardon of all my sins and as for my body I comit to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried in decent and Christian manner And as touching my temporall which it hath pleased God to bestowe upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth Itt I give unto my sister Mary the sume of ten shillings to be paid to her within six months after my decease by my executor hereafter named Itt I Geave unto the seaven children of my aforesd sister Mary (that is to say) John Falkner Samuel Falkner Daniell Falkner William Falkner Mary Falkner Sarah Falkner Hanna Falkner the sume of five shillings to ever on of them to be pd to them within six months after my decease by my executor hereafter named Itt I give unto John Watson of Rochester in Kent the sume of five shillings to be pd to him within six months after my decease by my executor hereafter named Itt I give unto Thomas Fuller and to Jane his wife the sume of five shillings Itt I give unto John the son of the aforesd Thomas Fuller of Ewhurst aforesd the sume of five shillings to be pd to him when he shall attain his age of one and twenty years Itt all the rest and residue of my money goods debts and Chattells I give and bequeath11 Word added in the margin. unto Anne my loving wife And I doe make ordaine nominate constitute and appoint the aforesd Thomas Fuller of Ewhurst Taylor to be my executor of this my last Will and Testament And I doe hereby make void and disanull all former and other Will and Wills by me made and doe make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness that it is my last Will and Testament I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this nineteenth day of March in the fourth year of the Raigne of our soveraigne Lord James the second Now King of England &c Anoque Dni 1687
