In the name Of God Amen, I Edward Ackhurst of Southwick in the County of Sussex, Husbandman being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say in touching my worldly estate wherewith hath pleased God to bless me in this life. I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Ann Ackhurst all and singular my ready money, bills and bonds, goods and chattels, household stuff and stock and all other my substance whatever in whose hands custody possession or keeping the same are in in can or maybe found and I make and appoint her as my said wife sole Executrix of this my last Will and lastly, I do hereby revoke all former and other Wills by me made declaring this to be my Last Will and Testament.
In witness, I the said Edward Ackhurst have herein to set my hand and seal this twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty one.
