In the name of God Amen I Jeremy Breecher of Westfeild in the County of Sussex yeoman do this two & twentyeth day of March one thousand six hundred thirty and nine make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say first I surrender my soule unto God that gave, & my body to decent buri[-]all at the discretion of mine executrix Item I give and bequeath my freehold te[ne]ment called Corters croft unto Joane Breecher my youngest daughter and to her heires for ever. Provided alwayes my mind and will is, and I doe give & bequeath one annualty or yearely rent of forty shillings of lawfull money of England unto Anne my daughter the wife of Richard Borham [Barham] of [word deleted] of Bread duringe her naturall life, to be paid her quarterly that is to say at the feast of the anuntiation of the Blessed Virgine Marye; at the feast of Saint Jhon the Bap[-]tist; at the feast of St Michaell the Archangell & the nati[-]vity of o[u]r Blessed Lord & saviour, by equall & even portions the first payment to beginne at the next of the feast that shall happen after my disease, And if it shall happen that the said yearely Rent of forty shillings or any part [word deleted] there[-]of to be behind & unpaid the space of tenne dayes next after any of the feast aforesaid, that then it shall and may be lawfull to & for the said Richard Borham or Anne his wife, of the said annualty of forty shillings & any or every part thereof w[i]th the arreareages if any bee shalbe fully satisfyed and paid. Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Breecher my daughter the sume of thirty pounds of laJerymy Breecherfull money of England to be paid her w[i]thin twelve moneths next after my disease. Item // I give and bequeath unto Jeremy Breecher the sonne of Thomas Breecher my brother the sume of forty shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid him when he shall attaine the age of one & twenty yeares; Item I give unto my grandchildren Anne Borham, Thomas Borham & mary Borham [words deleted] & Elizabeth Borham and Richard Borham the children of Richard Borham, to be paid them severally ten shillings apeece, when they shall attaine, theire sev[er]all ages of one & twenty yeares, or the daughters come to the day of theire sev[er]all marriages Item I give unto the poore of the parish of Westfeild the sume of tenn shillinges to be distributed amongst them w[i]thin one moneth after my disease at the discretion of my Executrix.
