(that is to say) First and principally I humbly commit my spirit to God hoping for mercy and salvation through his mercies in Jesus Christ my only Saviour and my Body to the Grave to be decently bureyed att the discretion of my Executrix herein after named, And as touching such worldly goods and estate as God in his goodness hath lent to me I dispose thereof as followeth. Imprimus I give to the Poor People of Seaford the sum of twenty shillings to be paid and divided amongst them at the discretion of my Executrix within one month next after my decease Item I give and devise all those my two Barns with the stalls and closes thereunto adjoining situate lying and being in Seaford aforesd and abutting to a pcell [parcel] of land there called Potters field to my Grandson James Chambers of Seaford aforesaid his Heirs and assigns for ever Itm I give and devise my two dwelling houses in Seaford aforesaid with the Stable Close Gardens and all other appurtnenances to the same or either of the same belonging in one of which houses I and my said Grandson James Chambers now dwell the other is uninhabited but in the occupation of the said James Chambers, to my daughter Clement Beane during the term of her natural life and after her decease to my said Grandson James Chambers his Heirs & assigns for ever.
