- Anecdote: The following note has been made about the East Blatchington parish registers from 1736:
"For several years - until 1748 - the Register has been kept very carelessly. Entries are hopelessly out of chronological order." Source: The Parish Registers of East Blatchington, Sussex 1563-1804, Transcribed by Revd. John H. Layton and Frank R. Williams (1940.) - Marriage*: Abraham Alce married Sarah Richardson, daughter of John Richardson and Elizabeth Hudson, on 3 May 1768 at Alciston, Sussex, EnglandB, recorded as Abraham "EALES" married Sarah RICHARDSON.2
- Residence*: In 1771 Abraham Alce and Sarah Richardson lived at Milton St, Wilmington, Sussex, England, (recorded on the baptism for their son John ALCE on 6 Oct 1771.)1
- Death*: Abraham Alce died in 1803 at East Blatchington, Sussex, EnglandB.
- Burial*: Abraham Alce was buried on 11 December 1803 at East Blatchington, Sussex, EnglandB.3
