A marriage allegation dated 23 Mar 1781 between John Eakers of St Ann, Middlesex, and Elizabeth Stone (widow) of Shoreditch St Leonard would indicate that he married the wife of Mary Stone's brother.
Note also that a John Eakers of Poplar was buried at St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney, on 12 May 1793. Elizabeth Eakers was buried 7 Jan 1789 at St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney.3,4 - Death*: William Eakers Brown died in 1791 at Poplar, London, Middlesex, England.

However, no other possible Elizabeth Brown baptisms have been found and hence it has been retained here until disproved.
